Blurring for privacy, not for looks

Blur properly, and do not rely on tricks
A light blur that leaves the shape readable is not privacy, it is decoration. Text in particular can sometimes be reconstructed from a weak blur or a pixelation effect, so if something genuinely needs hiding, blur it heavily enough that no structure survives, or cover it with a solid block instead. Solid coverage is the only approach that is definitively unrecoverable.
